ECG noise reduction technology, US exhibition report
us excibition
We participated in the US academic conferences, Institute of Healthcare Improvement 5/14-16 (IHI, Orlando) and National Teaching Institute 5/20-22 (NTI, Denver) to introduce our technology for reducing ECG noise/false alarms during ECG monitoring. The technology and its product was displayed at New V-Key Technology (NVK) booth. NTI is an academic conference attended by many nurses, and it was an opportunity for us to directly discuss with nurses who face many problems and challenges in the field. What was particularly impressive was the surprised reaction to the fact that the waveforms we verified in-house and showed as before/after were not exaggerated or special, but were serious phenomena that occur in many fields today, and that they could be improved in this way. With this problem continuing for a long time without being solved, I could not help but guess that there is a feeling of resignation in the field that “ECG noise is unavoidable and unsolvable.” HST and NVK have recognized this situation once again, and, not simply as our own business, but as entities that should be responsible for medical technology, would like to pursue and appeal for the “provision of accurate medical information and safe medical care” through the cooperation of those in the field, companies, and all other related parties.
